Algiers, Algeria – Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, today received Abdulsalam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA), at the presidential palace in Algiers.

The meeting took place during an official visit by an Omani delegation aimed at exploring avenues for economic and investment cooperation between the two nations.

During the discussions, the OIA Chairman conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, along with his best wishes for President Tebboune’s continued health and happiness, as well as progress and prosperity for the Algerian people.

In response, President Tebboune extended his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and expressed his hopes for further advancement and prosperity for the Omani people.

The meeting also saw both sides commend the existing areas of cooperation and reaffirm their leaderships’ commitment to expanding bilateral ties across various sectors.

The Omani delegation included H E Dr Saud bin Hamoud al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, H E Dr Hilal bin Ali al Sabti, Minister of Health, and several CEOs from OIA-affiliated companies.
