Muscat – In a strategic move to bolster its cybersecurity infrastructure, Oman Environmental Services Holding Company ‘be’ah’ signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) with Insight Information Security, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions. The signing ceremony took place at be’ah’s headquarters in Muscat, where the agreement was signed by Eng. Ahmed Mohamed al Aamri, GM – Digital Transformation & Cyber Security at be’ah, and Eng. Rashid Salim al Salmi, Managing Director of Insight. This agreement represents a key step in enhancing be’ah’s cybersecurity framework and protecting its digital assets from growing cyber threats. It also plays a crucial role in securing valuable data and safeguarding strategic projects, such as the digital waste management platform and Customer Relations Management, which contribute to strengthening the national economy.

Commenting on the partnership, Eng. Ahmed al Aamri said: “This collaboration with Insight marks a pivotal milestone in be’ah’s digital transformation journey. By strengthening our cybersecurity measures, we aim to protect our assets, maintain customer trust, and ensure the stability of our operations. Through this partnership, we will focus on establishing and managing a comprehensive Security Operations Center (SOC) to enhance our capabilities in this critical area.”
He added: “The SOC will provide continuous monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and compliance adherence to protect the company’s infrastructure from potential cyber threats. Our goal is to ensure the protection of sensitive information and valuable assets in alignment with be’ah’s security requirements and business objectives. “

On his part, Eng. Rashid al Salmi expressed his pride in the partnership, stating: “At Insight, we believe in the importance of building a robust cybersecurity ecosystem that keeps pace with rapid digital transformations. The partnership will also include the implementation of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to protect sensitive information, including customer data and proprietary business details. These solutions aim to prevent unauthorized access, sharing, or loss of data while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, the DLP solutions will help mitigate data breach risks, safeguard intellectual property, and educate employees on best practices in data security.
