Shinas – North Batinah Municipality has announced the completion of the Shinas Marine Park development project, located in the Wilayat of Shinas, North Batinah governorate. The park is set to serve as a recreational haven for citizens and visitors, contributing to the region’s tourism and leisure offerings.

Engineer Alia bint Salah al Attar, from the Projects Department at North Batinah Municipality and the project supervisor, stated, “Shinas Marine Park represents an important addition to the tourism and entertainment infrastructure in the Wilayat of Shinas. Covering an area of approximately 35,250 square metres, the park includes a range of public facilities, notably green spaces spanning 4,686 square metres, which enhance the environment and provide ample open areas for visitors.”

The park also features a designated play area, several cafés, commercial kiosks, and public parking facilities, making it a family-friendly destination.

Engineer al Attar highlighted that the project presents opportunities for young entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The park offers 10 investment locations, including five commercial kiosks, a café, two electric game areas, and two marine game zones on the beachfront.

Shinas Marine Park is anticipated to boost tourism diversity and entertainment options within the Wilayat of Shinas and across the North Batinah Governorate, enhancing the region’s appeal as a vibrant destination for both residents and tourists.
