Salalah – The Royal Army of Oman (RAO), represented by its Division Forces, has carried out the practical demonstration of the ‘Immense Shield 2’ military exercise with the support of the Royal Air Force of Oman and other RAO units and formations.

The exercise, held in Dhofar governorate, was sponsored by Major General Matar bin Salem al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman, and attended by senior officers from the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other military and security agencies.

The demonstration commenced with a detailed briefing outlining the exercise objectives and the extensive military training involved. Participants then performed the practical aspects of the exercise, displaying exceptional levels of efficiency, readiness, and the ability to execute operational tasks in alignment with pre-defined plans and training objectives.

This exercise is part of the RAO’s comprehensive training programme, designed to ensure high standards of combat readiness and operational performance among its personnel.
