Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has conveyed a written message to Mohammed Shia al Sudani, Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, addressing the strong fraternal relations between the two nations and exploring ways to strengthen cooperation in various fields.

The message was delivered in Baghdad by His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, during an official meeting with the Iraqi Prime Minister on Sunday.

During the meeting, His Excellency conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty the Sultan to the Prime Minister, wishing him continued health and happiness, and to the people of Iraq for sustained progress and prosperity.

In response, the Iraqi Prime Minister expressed his warm regards and good wishes to His Majesty Sultan Haitham and the Omani people, reaffirming the commitment to furthering the historic ties between the two brotherly nations.
