Manah – Dakhiliyah governorate is set to launch its new promotional visual identity on Monday at the Oman Across Ages Museum in the wilayat of Manah. The event will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Ghuson bin Hilal al Alawi, Chairman of the State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority.
The initiative aims to encapsulate the governorate’s vision, mission, and future aspirations, in alignment with Oman Vision 2040. It also seeks to highlight Dakhiliyah’s unique cultural and historical heritage, embedding its identity in the public consciousness to bolster economic, tourism, and social activities in the region.
His Excellency Sheikh Hilal bin Saeed al Hajri, Governor of Dakhiliyah stated, “The implementation of the promotional visual identity aims to enhance the mental image of the governorate by adopting a representation that reflects its distinctive advantages. This identity showcases the governorate’s abundant resources and contributes to tourism promotion while fostering an investment-friendly climate. It marks the beginning of a new era of excellence and prosperity across various sectors.”
In a statement to the Oman News Agency, Sheikh Hilal added that the three-day launch event would feature a press conference announcing the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award. A symposium on digital transformation will also be held, featuring presentations from several institutions on innovative practices and strategies.
Earlier this year, Dakhiliyah governorate hosted a visual identity workshop, which showcased the region’s tourism assets and gathered feedback on the identity’s artistic elements. Insights from attendees were incorporated into the final design to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive approach.
This new identity is expected to solidify Dakhiliyah’s status as a cultural and economic hub, further promoting its rich heritage and creating a platform for future growth and innovation.
