Dhofar – Dhofar governorate police, supported by the Coast Guard patrol boats, have successfully intercepted a smuggling operation, apprehending four individuals of Arab nationality.

The suspects were caught attempting to smuggle over 2,100 bundles of khat, a narcotic plant classified as illegal in Oman.

The arrested individuals are currently in custody, and legal procedures are underway. Further details about the case are expected as investigations proceed.
