Sur – The Royal Oman Police shared that search and rescue efforts are ongoing to locate a missing citizen who fell from a fishing boat near the Al-Bar area in the Wilayat of Sur, South Sharqiyah governorate on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
According to the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority, teams have been deployed to search the sea, with land authorities coordinating resources to aid in the search operation.
Authorities have urged all to follow safety precautions while venturing out in the sea and highlighted the importance of maritime safety and the continued efforts of rescue teams in responding to such emergencies.
