Muscat – Following the success of the Pakistan-Oman Business Forum, the Embassy of Pakistan plans to host an Education Expo on November 16, H E Imran Ali, Ambassador of Pakistan, said at the conclusion of the two-day forum on Tuesday.
In an effort to simplify business processes, the Pakistani embassy announced plans to develop a comprehensive database of key business figures and companies, enabling easier connections and communication.
H E Ali said, “The Pakistan-Oman Forum highlighted the need to bridge cultural gaps and foster relationships that promote business growth between Pakistan and Oman. It is more about a ‘mind connection’ along with ‘business connection’. Language and cultural barriers have always been an issue and here we have successfully managed to ease them.”
He added that the embassy with this event wants to build bridges between businessmen from both countries, particularly those who are unfamiliar with local regulations and markets.
“This forum provides the perfect platform for mutual understanding and collaboration. The main aim for the the inaugural edition of the Pakistan-Oman Business Forum is to have more people from the base level to know and do business with ease,” H E Ali added.
The inaugural edition of the forum showcased over 60 exhibitors in its attempt to promote smoother business interactions between the two nations. However, the Ambassador felt that language can often be a barrier, which is why, he said, “processes should be made accessible in Urdu or Hindi to ease understanding”.
