Muscat – Celebrity billionaire and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla Elon Musk will visit Muscat in November to discuss technology and trends shaping today’s world.
Musk will attend the annual meeting and conference of International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF) on November 4 where he will join the conversation with Antonio Gracias, Founder and CEO of Valor Equity Partners.
‘We are delighted to announce that Elon Musk will be joining us this November at our annual meeting in Muscat, Oman. He will discuss the technology and trends shaping today’s world and the likely changes it will cast in the future,’ IFSWF posted on X.
The annual meeting from November 4 to November 6 at St Regis Al Mouj Resort will be held under the theme ‘Embracing Disruption and Searching for Resilient Futures’.
‘In an era where disruption is the new norm, the need for resilience has never been more paramount. The 2024 IFSWF annual meeting will be dedicated to exploring the transformative strategies and innovative solutions required to navigate the complexities of the modern financial landscape.’ IFSWF stated.
During the meeting, IFSWF members will learn from peers, experts and practitioners how to harness the power of disruption and forge resilient pathways towards a greener, more sustainable world.
The conference will kick off with welcome remarks by Abdulsalam al Murshidi, President of Oman Investment Authority, and Obaid Amrane, Chair of IFSWF.
The meeting will see the heads of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds, representing over 80% of SWF assets globally, shining a spotlight on Oman and its investment opportunities.
