Muscat – The ‘Your Values are Amanah’ symposium hosted by Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Rustaq, South Batinah, concluded on Tuesday.

According to Dr Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad al Siyabi, Director of Endowments and Religious Affairs Department in South Batinah, ‘Your Values are Amanah’ was the centrepiece of an event comprising diverse religious programmes and activities. 

The symposium addressed three key topics – religion, society and security. It underscored the significance of upholding values from both religious and social standpoints, aiming to foster solidarity among individuals while promoting fairness in social interactions and shaping a cohesive national and social identity.

Particular emphasis laid on the crucial role of parental supervision in nurturing and enhancing children’s values. The symposium stressed the importance of proactive parental involvement to safeguard and cultivate positive values in the younger generation.

Additionally, it featured various engaging activities, including dedicated sections for productive families, small and medium enterprises, zakat committees and charitable organisations. Attendees were treated to a specially staged play for children and diverse cultural competitions, adding vibrancy and inclusivity to the event.
