Muscat – Muscat Municipality issued a tender for the development of a sports complex in Wadi Kabir Park in Muscat.

An official spokesperson for Muscat Municipality highlighted the significance of the project, for it can adequately cater to sports enthusiasts and families alike.

The proposed complex, over an area of 9,780sqm within the 41,209sqm Wadi Kabir Park, is expected to become a central hub for recreational activities, the spokesperson exhorted.

Key features of the complex include a gym building, outdoor playgrounds featuring two football fields, two padel courts, and a multi-use court to accommodate a diverse range of interests.

Beyond sports facilities, the complex will also house additional amenities such as a bowling alley, a dedicated sports equipment store, restaurants, and shaded terraces.
