Muscat – The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCIT), represented by the General Directorate of Roads and Land Transport in the Dhofar governorate, announced the completion of 46% of the work of the project to design and implement the stabilisation of slopes on the Argot-Sarfit road in Dhalkut.

The project, with a cost exceeding RO11mn, includes track changes, cutting and backfilling works, as well as other construction works and necessary road protections. The project is expected to be over during the last quarter of 2024.

Through this project, the ministry aims to enhance traffic safety and improve road efficiency to achieve a safe and integrated infrastructure with the traffic flow experienced on the roads in the Sultanate of Oman.
