Muscat – As part of its efforts to stimulate tourism and create an atmosphere for families to enjoy outdoor activities, Musandam governorate will organise a carnival from April 26 to 28.
A statement issued by an official in the Musandam Governor’s Office said that the three-day Musandam Carnival will be held on Bassah Beach.
“The carnival will include many events, entertainment shows, traditional local food, and a wonderful shopping experience with the participation of many productive families.”
Musandam is currently witnessing the implementation of several development projects, according to Musandam Municipality.
The municipality is working on developing a number of projects that serve the economic, tourism and social sectors of the governorate. Some of the major development projects underway include a Kamzar village, construction of a floating pier in Khor Najd, the Khorsham mountain pass project, and a waterfront project in the wilayat of Dibba.
Ninety per cent of the Kamzar village in Khasab has been developed. The project includes a waterfront, construction of a children’s park and a sea wall. The Khorsham mountain pass is designed to the latest international standards and equipped with solar streetlights, the municipality informed.
