Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested three expats on Tuesday for smuggling large quantities of drugs into Oman.

A statement issued by the ROP said, ‘Three people of Asian nationality have been arrested after they entered the country illegally by sea, and were found in possession of more than 28kg of crystal meth, 21kg of morphine and 10kg of hashish.’

‘Legal procedures have been taken against them,’ it stated.
