Muscat – Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, presided over a celebration marking Royal Oman Police (ROP) Day on Thursday.

ROP celebrates it Annual Day every year on January 5.

The event took place at the military parade ground of Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences in the wilayat of Nizwa.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, conferred the excellent service medals on a number of senior ROP officers. The medals were handed over by Sayyid Theyazin.
