Muscat – Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, a leading hospital in Mumbai, opened a coordination centre in Muscat in Ghubra on Tuesday to make health treatment for Omani patients in India easily accessible and comfortable.

Services at the centre will include teleconsultations, appointment booking, treatment cost discussions, tickets-visa-hotel services and SIM card facilities.

The event was graced by Majlis A’Shura members Aziz al Azizi and Sheikh Malik bin Hamood al Yahmadi.

Dr Shailesh Raina, director of Urology and Renal Transplantation Department, and Dr Deepu Banerji, consultant neurosurgeon of Jaslok Hospital Mumbai, were also present.

At the opening, Jitendra Haryan, CEO of Jaslok Hospital, said, “We are thrilled to be expanding our services and offerings to patients beyond India. We would like to extend our heartiest gratitude to the Government of Oman for extending support in establishing this project.

It has been observed that a large number of Omani patients visit Jaslok Hospital for advanced treatment, and hence the launch of the coordination centre was considered the need of the hour. Jaslok Hospital has partnered with Al Miri Coordination Centre (Oman) and Magnus Medi (India) to open the centre in Muscat. This collaboration will aid the people of Oman in receiving end-to-end services.
