Cloudy weather prevails over north of Arabian Sea

Muscat – Oman Meteorology has said that satellite images show that there is a presence of cumulus clouds in the north of Arabian Sea and that there is also a possibility of clouds forming over Al Hajar Mountains and the desert areas of the Dhofar Governorate.

In a statement, Oman Meteorology said, ‘The department has been monitoring a tropical turbulence near the western coasts of India. There is a possibility of it developing into a tropical depression in the next two days.’

It added that there is also a possibility of scattered rains over Hajar Mountains and Dhofar Governorate.
