Muscat – Sarooj Dam in the wilayat of Madha, in Musandam Governorate, has filled up considerably, forming a lake of fresh water following the recent heavy rains that lashed several governorates in Oman.
Madha had received 320mm of rainfall – the highest in four days – between July 25 and 28.
