Ministry of Health (MoH) announced the opening of an Outreach Clinic at Mabela Industrial Area in Seeb that will open for all residents who have developed flu symptoms suggestive of COVID-19. 

‘The clinic, located at Way Number 7749 (Ministry of Heritage and Culture Compound in south Mabela), will remain open to all residents on all days from 9am to 1pm, except Fridays,’ MoH said in a statement. 

This is the fifth such clinic being made operational in Muscat governorate. ‘Those who have developed flu symptomes suggestive of COVID-19 can utilise the facility for medical consultations and if needed be tested. The clinic is free for all residents,’ MoH said. 

Four other such clinics are in Muttrah (Medical Fitness Examination Centre Darsait), Bousher (Outreach Clinic in Ghala), Seeb Medical Fitness Examination Centre and another one at Rusail Medical Fitness Examination Centre. 

As for Muttrah, citizens and residents can get themselves tested at six locations in the wilayat. ‘COVID-19 screening points in Muttrah are set only for those who have developed the symptoms of the disease such as fever, cough, flu, sore throat or shortness of breath. The centres are operating from 9am to 1pm,’ MoH said.
