With flights disrupted for a foreseeable future, Oman Air has announced that customers can re-book their tickets bought earlier for travel up to 18 months from the date of issue. Change to another Oman Air destination is allowed with no re-booking fee.
However, if the fare to the new destination is higher than the original payment, then fare difference will apply. ‘We have further refined out flight reservations policy to allow re-bookings for travel up to 18 months from the date the ticket was originally issued,’ the national airline stated.
‘We remain committed to providing you with flexibility during these challenging times.’
According to the airline’s refund and re-booking policy, travel dates may be changed up to two times. No re-booking or change fees will be charged, but additional fare may be collected depending on type of airfare purchased. ‘Amended travel dates can be up to 18 months from the date of original ticket issuance.
Guests holding refundable tickets may opt to make changes to flight booking now, or may choose to keep reservations open for re-booking at a future date when travel plans are finalised.’
