Dhofar – Dhofar Municipality, in coordination with the Directorate General of Labour in Dhofar Governorate, has announced an initiative to provide wage support for private sector establishments and institutions offering temporary seasonal jobs.

This support covers specific seasonal periods in Dhofar, including Khareef, Sarab, and winter, with numbers and allocations distributed among targeted categories.

The targeted categories include Omani establishments holding municipal licences that hire temporary Omani staff, as well as Omani businesses holding government contracts and tenders tied to seasonal activities.

Additionally, the initiative covers organisers of seasonal festivals and events who hire temporary staff during tourist seasons, Omani owners of tourist hotels or residential buildings hiring temporary reception staff, and organisers of volunteer-based seasonal activities who employ Omanis temporarily.
