Muscat – Ministry of Labour (MoL) has released a summary of inspection outcomes monitoring labour relations provisions, detailing a total of 3,792 visits conducted through 72 inspection campaigns, 116 repeat inspections, 395 follow-up inspections, and 3,209 comprehensive inspections.
The monitoring revealed 2,936 compliant establishments and 856 non-compliant establishments. Measures taken against non-compliant entities included 3,209 instances of advice and guidance, 395 verbal warnings, and 116 re-inspections.
Furthermore, 29 violations were issued against establishments that had previously been cited in violation reports, and 27 of these cases were referred to the Public Prosecution.
