The ‘Hospitality Champions 2020’ awards is a new initiative jointly organised and presented by Apex Media, publisher of Muscat Daily, and the National Hospitality Institute (NHI), and aims to celebrate outstanding performance of Omanis in the hospitality sector, whilst critically, underlining the exciting career prospects that await new Omani students wishing to train for a future in the industry.
Apex Media’s CEO Mark Rix commented that, “It is vitally important that young Omanis are aware of the exciting and rewarding opportunities open to them when they choose to train for a career in hospitality. As this important sector continues to grow rapidly in Oman, a highly trained local workforce is essential to meet the employment demands.
The champions will receive their awards at a gala event at Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, the date of which will be announced at the earliest opportunity.
