A 14 year old boy in Dhahirah committed suicide on Tuesday. 

A Royal Oman Police (ROP) official said that the boy committed suicide after his parents took his phone from him.  

The official said, “The child  hung himself with the help of a bike tyre tube after his father  took away the phone from him  during lunch time.” 

The ROP is still conducting investigation in the case and completing the rest of the legal procedures.
