Sayyid Badr takes part in DefExpo 2020

Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, took part in the 10th edition of DefExpo 2020 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India on Wednesday.

 

Sayyid Badr toured the pavilions of the expo, which was opened by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

Sayyid Badr took note of the latest military technologies, systems and equipment produced by the international defence industry firms.

 

During the event, Sayyid Badr met PM Modi and conveyed to him His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s wishes of good health and happiness, along with wishes of further progress and prosperity to the friendly people of India.

 

On his turn, PM Modi asked Sayyid Badr to convey his greetings of good health and happiness to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and wished progress and prosperity to the Omani people.

 

PM Modi also expressed his heartfelt condolences to Sayyid Badr and the Omani people on the death of the His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, praying to God to rest his soul in peace. On his arrival, Sayyid Badr was received by the Oman’s Ambassador to India, H E Sheikh Hamad bin Saif al Rawahi, Military Attaché, Brig Badr bin Said al Farsi, and senior officials of the Indian defence ministry.
