The Bahla Court of First Instance has issued nine judicial rulings against a recruitment agency for violating the Consumer Protection Law promulgated by Royal Decree 66/2014.
The rulings have shut down the agency permanently.
‘The court received complaints from a number of consumers stating that they had agreed with a recruitment agency in Bahla to bring in domestic workers. The agency did not meet the consumers’ demands,’ sated the Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP).
