Oman is taking part in the 40th edition of the World Travel Market (WTM) London, one of the largest international tourism industry fairs, being held in London, UK, from Monday. More than 51 countries are taking part in this edition being held from November 4-6.  

The sultanate is being represented at the event by the Ministry of Tourism (MoT) and 21 companies and establishments from the travel and tourism sector. The sultanate’s section will include direct meetings and marketing events that will be attended by the representatives from the Omani tourism sector. Sultanate’s delegation includes representatives from Mysk hotel, Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel and others.  

The London World Travel Market is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The 2019 edition is expected to witness the participation of 51,000 travel and tourism professionals and more than 30,000 visitors.
