Muscat – His Excellency Khalid al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council, met with representatives from the Omani Association for Persons with Disabilities to discuss the challenges they face and explore ways to empower them across various sectors.

The meeting highlighted the importance of the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which aims to regulate key aspects affecting this group and contribute to resolving the challenges they encounter.

The session was attended by His Excellency Zaher bin Sarhan al Amri, Council Member, alongside other officials.
