Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has graciously conferred Royal Orders on several prominent personalities at Al Barakah Palace in appreciation of their sincere efforts and dedication in carrying out their professional duties.

The First Class Medal of Honour was awarded to H H Sayyida Dr. Ghaliyah bint Fahr bin Taimur Al Said and H H Sayyida Dr. Mona bint Fahd Al Said, Assistant Vice Chancellor for International Cooperation at Sultan Qaboos University.

Furthermore, His Majesty awarded the Second Class Medal of Firmness to H H Sayyid Loay bin Ghalib al Said, Secretary General of the Diwan of Royal Court, and H H Sayyid Nader bin Shihab bin Tariq Al Said.

The First Class Civil Order of Oman was granted to H E Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, and H E Sayyid Faisal bin Hamoud al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam.

In addition, the Second Class Order of Commendation was awarded to H E Mulham bin Bashir Al Jarf,, Deputy President for Investment at the Oman Investment Authority, and H E Munir bin Ali Al Muniri,, Deputy President for Operations at the Oman Investment Authority.
