Muscat – The Ministry of Education, represented by the General Directorate of Educational Supervision, has launched the third introductory programme for new teachers for the academic year 2025/2026 across various educational directorates in the governorates.

The programme aims to familiarise newly appointed teachers with professional requirements and provide them with the necessary tools to succeed in their roles.

Key workshops will cover employee rights and duties, daily and semester planning, use of modern platforms and technologies, psychological support in the school environment, and effective application of continuous assessment tools.

The initiative also seeks to foster positive attitudes towards the teaching profession, enhance motivation, empower teachers in their career development, and raise awareness of educational projects implemented by the ministry.

The programme forms part of the ministry’s broader efforts to strengthen the education system by investing in teacher preparation and professional growth.
