Izki – A tragic road accident in the Al Rusaiss area  in the wilayat of  Izki in Dakhliyah  claimed the lives of four people, including three children, on Wednesday. The incident occurred when a bus carrying schoolchildren collided with a stationary object and subsequently overturned.

In statement issued by the Royal Oman Police, said  ‘ the bus driver died at the scene, along with three children. Twelve other children sustained injuries of varying degrees and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Emergency response teams rushed to the site and provided immediate medical assistance. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
