Muscat – The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth (MCSY) opened registration for a newly launched award for children in culture category. The registration for the Child Culture Award will close on July 31.

The award – for children and personnel promoting culture among children – comprises two competitions named ‘Oman Speaks’ and ‘Speak so I See You’.

The new award seeks to encourage children to hone their cultural and literary abilities.

It will motivate writers and intellectuals to enrich the Arab children’s library with literature focusing on human values, MCSY stated.
