London – H E Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, met James Cleverly, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of United Kingdom, at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office on Monday.

The meeting reviewed the existing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. The two also explored opportunities for new partnerships and investments in renewable energy projects, technical education and innovation. The two sides affirmed their interest in encouraging the development of nascent companies, and small and medium enterprises.

The two sides also commended the works and efforts of the strategic consultation team and the joint working group in advancing cooperation programmes between the two countries, and exploring further opportunities for partnership, and financial and economic cooperation.
