Muscat – The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) is compiling a directory that will make it easy for tourists to access the best of what Oman has to offer.

The ministry has urged all tourist establishments in the sultanate to register in the directory.

‘The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism is pleased to invite all partners in the tourism sector in Oman to register in the tourism establishments directory,’ a ministry statement said.

The directory will include data and contact details of all tourist establishments operating in the various governorates of Oman. ‘For further clarification regarding registration, please contact us directly on 99414492,’ the statement added.

According to the agency compiling the directory, the objective of the project is to provide correct information to tourists. It will be available online and in print.

H E Salim bin Mohammed al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, has launched the ministry’s Services Guide 2022. The guide seeks to develop the services provided by the ministry and improve the digital user experience within the framework of digital transformation.
