Muscat – The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion has issued an official notice clarifying its regulatory actions taken against commercial and service establishments.

The ministry stated that violations were recorded against 17 fuel filling stations in Muscat Governorate following initial inspection visits, noting that these issues have since been corrected alongside ongoing periodic and unannounced spot checks.

Regarding Sanad Service Centres whose licences were revoked, the ministry confirmed that the decision was taken due to repeated violations and a failure to rectify their status, despite prior notices and opportunities provided.

The ministry emphasised that these supervisory measures aim to promote compliance, elevate service quality, and protect consumer rights, while encouraging the public to report complaints and observations via the national platform, Tajawob.
