Saudi Arabia – The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority announced that a deadly attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh resulted in the deaths of 12 people and left 309 others injured.
Official statements confirmed that the fatalities included 4 Saudi nationals alongside citizens from Bangladesh, the United States, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, and Sudan.
In the wake of the incident, the General Authority of Civil Aviation temporarily suspended operations at the airport, causing widespread cancellations of inbound flights scheduled for Sunday.
The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen described the alleged Houthi strike as a full-blown war crime, while US President Donald Trump publicly condemned the event as a terrible occurrence. Flight tracking platforms showed no inbound traffic to the capital shortly after the attack as security measures remained heightened.
