Muscat – The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said an upper-air trough is expected to affect parts of the Arabian Sea coast in Al Wusta and Dhofar from Friday evening, October 2, to Saturday, October 3.
According to the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Centre, the weather system is expected to bring chances of scattered rain and thunderstorms, along with active winds and reduced visibility in affected areas.
The CAA advised the public to follow official weather bulletins and exercise caution, particularly as rainfall could lead to runoff in some wadis.
