Muscat– The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said that the Directorate General of Customs had thwarted an attempt to smuggle more than 10kg of marijuana concealed in a postal package arriving from Thailand.

The drugs were carefully concealed inside the package in an attempt to evade detection.

The suspect was arrested in coordination with the General Directorate for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances.
