Barka– A consumer has recovered RO4,420 following an amicable settlement with a travel and tourism company in South Batinah Governorate, the Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) said.

The consumer had entered into an agreement with the company to arrange bookings and tourism packages for two people and paid the full amount. However, the company failed to provide the services as agreed.

Following the CPA’s intervention, the company agreed to refund the full amount of RO4,420 to the consumer.
