Muscat – The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) has urged businesses and individuals to obtain the required licences before producing or printing materials associated with the National Day celebrations.

The ministry’s awareness campaign highlights the need to secure approval before manufacturing or printing products featuring national symbols, images and other elements associated with the Sultanate of Oman.

According to the ministry, applications for licences should be submitted to the licensing department manually, accompanied by images of the intended product and the national symbols or logos to be used.

The ministry also reminded businesses of restrictions governing the use of official national symbols and imagery in products and materials prepared for National Day celebrations.

The awareness campaign specifically identifies the State Emblem of Oman, the national flag, the official map of Oman and the portrait of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik among the elements whose use is subject to the applicable requirements.

The ministry said the measures are intended to ensure that products and printed materials prepared for the celebrations comply with the relevant licensing requirements.

It also announced that the final date for receiving applications is October 15, 2026.
