Muscat – Ministry of Labour (MoL) has officially announced that Thursday, August 27, will be an official public holiday across the Sultanate of Oman.

This day off is in observance of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad for the hijri year 1448 AH, following the national and religious holiday schedule previously released on December 28. Workers and employees across the country will observe this day as a formal holiday.
