Suhar – The Indian Embassy in Muscat is closely monitoring the situation regarding the Nicaragua-flagged tanker MT Petro Dolphin following a drone attack at Sohar Anchorage off the coast of Oman.

The vessel carried eleven Indian seafarers, of whom nine have been successfully rescued and remain safe, while two Indian nationals are reported missing.

Local coast guard authorities and relevant agencies are actively conducting search-and-rescue operations, with the embassy maintaining close and continuous contact to locate the missing personnel.
