Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik received a telephone call from Sanae Takaichi, Prime Minister of Japan. At the beginning of the call, the Japanese Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of Emperor Naruhito to His Majesty, along with wishes for good health and continuous progress for the Omani people.

In return, His Majesty asked Prime Minister Takaichi to convey his greetings to the Emperor of Japan, wishing him good health and happiness, and the friendly Japanese people further prosperity.

During the conversation, the two leaders explored close bilateral relations between Oman and Japan and discussed ways to support and develop cooperation across various fields to serve their mutual interests.

Additionally, they exchanged views on regional developments, during which the Japanese Prime Minister expressed appreciation for Oman’s ongoing efforts to support dialogue, de-escalation, and international peace and security.
