Beijing – Embassy of Oman in the People’s Republic of China has closely monitored the developments of the tropical weather condition involving Typhoon Dolphin, which struck Zhejiang province, the city of Shanghai, and neighbouring Chinese regions.

In response to the severe weather, the embassy strongly urged Omani citizens visiting these affected areas, as well as students studying locally, to exercise caution and vigilance.

It also emphasised the importance of strictly complying with all precautionary safety measures issued by the local Chinese authorities. Furthermore, the embassy advised individuals to reach out for assistance when necessary by using the emergency contact numbers published on the official embassy profile on the platform X.
