Musandam – One Indian seafarer has been confirmed dead following attacks on commercial vessels Al Bahiyah, Mombasa B, and GFS Galaxy near Oman coast.

The Government of India has expressed deep concern following attacks on two vessels, MT Al Bahiyah and MT Mombasa, during their transit through the Strait of Hormuz on July 14.

These vessels were carrying a combined total of 30 Indian seafarers. Tragically, one Indian national lost his life, while several others sustained injuries during the incident.

In response, the Foreign Ministry of India summoned the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Iran in New Delhi to lodge a strong protest. India has condemned these acts of violence, urging an immediate return to dialogue and diplomacy to restore security and unimpeded navigation in the region.
