Sinaw – Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) confiscated 163 prohibited items during a comprehensive joint inspection campaign.
The operation, conducted in coordination with several government entities, including the Office of the Wali of Sinaw, the Sinaw Police Station, and the Ministry of Labour, aimed to combat the rise of unlicensed street vendors and violating expatriate workers.
Inspection teams targeted various markets and locations to ensure regulatory compliance and safeguard consumer health. The seized materials included 34 packets of assorted cigarettes, 57 bags of ‘Pan’ products, 61 bags of ‘Afdhal’ products, and 11 packs of gypsum material.
All illicit goods have been withdrawn from circulation, and the competent authorities are currently pursuing necessary legal actions against the offenders.
