Muscat – Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) has issued a formal warning advising consumers to avoid the purchase, circulation, and use of specific insecticide products. The affected items include ‘Goodbye all insect spray’ and ‘Goodbye all insect max kills in one spray’, both of which are manufactured by SCITRA.

These products fail to meet approved regulatory requirements and standards, and notably, the manufacturer lacks a local agent within the Sultanate. Authorities are strongly urging the public to verify all product information and exclusively purchase insecticides from trusted, authorised retail outlets. Furthermore, consumers are advised to steer clear of items that lack transparent information or clear accountability. The Authority also encourages the public and suppliers to report any suspicious or non-compliant products through official communication channels to protect consumer health and safety.
