Muscat – “Inspire Oman” initiative launched to showcase success stories in economic development and entrepreneurship
with strategic support from the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), Mefriend launched the “Inspire Oman” initiative, aimed at highlighting, documenting, and promoting outstanding Omani success stories in economic and social development and entrepreneurship, both locally and globally. The initiative also seeks to attract investments to the Sultanate of Oman by promoting investment opportunities, thereby contributing to the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.

The announcement was made during a press conference attended by H.E. Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI); Sheikh Saud bin Ahmed Al Nahari, Member of the Board of Directors of OCCI; Abdul Latif Moideen Kunji, Member of the Board of Directors of OCCI and Chairman of the Foreign Investment Committee; representatives of Mefriend; and business owners and entrepreneurs, at the Chamber’s headquarters in Muscat Governorate.

H.E. Sheikh Faisal Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OCCI, explained that the initiative stems from a firm belief that Omani success stories represent one of the most important strengths of the national economy, and that investing in showcasing these models contributes to enhancing Oman’s economic standing and reinforcing investors’ confidence in the Omani business environment.

H.E. Sheikh Faisal stated: “The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry believes that every successful project, every entrepreneur, every investor, and every institution that has contributed to building this nation is part of a success story worthy of being told, documented, and shared with the world as a message affirming that the Sultanate of Oman is an attractive destination for business, a trusted investment partner, and an economy with the capabilities to achieve further growth and prosperity.”
For his part, Abdul Latif Moideen Kunji, Member of the Board of Directors of OCCI and Chairman of the Foreign Investment Committee, said that the initiative seeks to present a comprehensive picture of the investment environment in the Sultanate of Oman by showcasing economic achievements, highlighting inspiring experiences of entrepreneurs, investors, and national companies, and introducing promising investment opportunities across various economic sectors.

He affirmed that the initiative is based on the belief in the importance of building an inspiring national narrative that reflects Oman’s development and renaissance journey, which has contributed to strengthening investor confidence and improving the business environment.

It is worth noting that the “Inspire Oman” initiative is built around three main pillars. The first pillar is the “Commemorative Publication”, which documents and preserves significant journeys, remarkable achievements, key milestones in the business world, leadership experiences, and success stories from across the Sultanate of Oman.

The second pillar is “Celebrating the Experience”, a comprehensive digital storytelling campaign featuring exclusive videos, interviews, success stories, and inspiring content that highlights Oman’s achievements and opportunities. Success stories will be published across multiple digital platforms.

The third pillar is the “Inspire Oman Investors Summit”, which will bring together decision-makers, officials, experts, and investors from the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of India, and countries around the world. The event will provide a platform for strategic dialogue, investment opportunities, business networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration.
