Muscat – Oman Customs executed a major enforcement operation in the Wilayat of Seeb, resulting in the seizure of substantial quantities of prohibited tobacco products. Authorities discovered more than 5,900 cartons of cigarettes and over 400kg of tobacco derivatives. The contraband was found stored across several locations, including a residential property, a commercial shop, and a vehicle. These items were reportedly linked to individuals of Asian nationality.

Following the discovery of the illicit goods, all items were confiscated, and the necessary legal procedures have been initiated against the individuals involved.
